Who We Are:
We were founded by Cristin Barr, an attorney with an MBA and the heart of a teacher. This iteration of the franchise business was founded in 2020, but she's been passionate about the franchise model since 1995 when she read The E-Myth by Michael Gerber in high school.
As the founder of Franchising For Growth, Cristin expertly helps small businesses become franchise systems. Previously, as an Attorney at Fleur De Lis Law & Title, she developed the firm’s franchise practice and was a keynote speaker for the Meeting Professional International Association. With a robust background in sales and marketing from her tenure as Vice President at Neill Technologies, Cristin created the COACH training program for new software clients. Her career at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company saw her receiving multiple awards for excellence in contract negotiations and leadership in operations management. Cristin holds a Juris Doctor from Loyola University, an MBA from Louisiana State University, and a Bachelor's in Journalism from the University of Texas. She is also actively involved in her community, serving on the board of the Autism Society of Greater New Orleans and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity.
Our Story:
Franchising For Growth was founded with a simple yet powerful idea: that helping small businesses grow into franchise systems would create new jobs and promote state and local economic development.
We offer 1:1 coaching and online courses that walk business owners through the information they need to feel confident in turning their profitable small business into a franchise system.
We also draft the Franchise Disclosure Document and Franchise Agreement that legally create your franchise system.
Our Approach:
We're transforming the way small businesses become franchise systems. We teach the basics of becoming a franchisor in pre-recorded online courses, so that you can learn at your own pace and on your own schedule.
We also offer 1:1 coaching that can be scheduled an hour at a time or in packages. This is for business owners who already know the basic franchise business model and are ready to get rolling. Coaching allows the business owner to direct the conversation or get straight to the specifics of their business.
